Solar Sensor: Service and Repair

To Remove

Remove the A pillar trims.

Remove the speaker grilles and the screws securing the upper section of the facia.

Unhook the upper part of the facia from the cable between the A pillars.

Unplug the solar sensor connector and lift off the upper part of the facia.

Remove the solar sensor by pushing it against the facia and turning it counter clockwise, seen from the underside of the facia.

To Install

Press the solar sensor into the holder. Note the position.

Install the upper part of the facia in position and plug in the solar sensor connector.

Hook in the cable in the upper part of the facia.

4

Tighten the screws securing the upper part of the facia, connect the speakers and screw down the speaker grilles.
