Trunk/Liftgate Sensor/Switch (For Alarm): Service and Repair

Remove the tailgate handle and trim.

Remove the plastic cover over the lock.

Unplug the 6-pin connector.

Remove the 2 pins for the microswitch from the connector. Remove the microswitch (first remove the plastic buttons holding the micro- switch).

Install in reverse order.
