Coolant Reservoir: Service and Repair

REMOVAL 

1. Loosen the expansion tank pressure Cap and raise the car.
2. Remove the center air deflector, place a drip tray under the radiator and open the radiator drain plug.
3. Install the drain plug and tighten it by hand. Install the center air deflector.
4. Lower the car and detach the upper coolant hose(s) from the expansion tank.
5. Unplug the engine coolant level sensor electrical connection.
6. Undo the catch.
7. Lift the expansion tank and disconnect the lower coolant hose.
