Starter Motor Replacement
To Remove

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Important : Do not disconnect the battery cable while the engine is running as this could seriously damage the generator (alternator).

Disconnect the electric leads from the starter motor.

Slacken the upper mounting of the stay bar. It is not necessary to remove it.
4
Remove the two starter motor retaining bolts.
5
Lower the starter motor to remove it.
To Install
Install in reverse order.
