Installation
1. Press the tapered roller bearing onto the output shaft.
Use a press and sleeve tool No. 87 92 202, or equivalent.
NOTE:

Place on a suitable surface.

Do not press against the outer edges of the drum.
2. Press the tapered roller bearing onto the output shaft drive.
Use sleeve tool in a press.
3. There are two designs of the output shaft bearing housing. One has detachable bearing races and the other has bearing races which are machined
directly in the bearing housing.
BEARING HOUSING WITH DETACHABLE BEARING RACES

Tap out the bearing races and then press in new bearing races. Use the old bearing. races to press in the new ones.
BEARING HOUSING WITH MACHINED BEARING RACES
-
Change bearing housing.
