Wrap felt tape, P/N 96 98 846, around the wiring connected to the switches on both sides to prevent it from making a squeaking noise it it
rubs against the kneepad or other electrical leads. See Figure 6, item 4.

Move the steering wheel to different positions and check that the squeaking noise has been eliminated.

Refit the steering column covers.
