Oil Pan: Service and Repair

REMOVAL 

1. Raise the car, drain the engine oil and detach the front exhaust pipe from both exhaust manifolds. Pull the front exhaust pipe down a little.
2. Remove the cover plate, undo the oil pan securing bolts and remove the oil pan.
3. Remove the bolts in the oil strainer holder. Remove the oil suction pipe's retaining bolts in the oil pump. Remove the strainer. Note the oil suction

pipe's O-ring.

4. Remove the antislosh baffles.
