10. Zero the engine. The markings on the camshaft sprockets and the timing cover should be aligned as should the markings on the crankshaft. Insert

locking tools KM-800-1 and KM800-2 for the camshaft sprockets on the cylinder heads and locking tool KM-800-10 for the crankshaft.

11. Before the toothed belt is removed, mark the belt's direction of rotation. To facilitate installation, the belt can be marked at both the camshaft

marking and the crankshaft marking.

12. Release the belt from tension and remove the toothed belt. Undo the adjuster pulley bolts.
13. Turn the crankshaft back to 60° BTDC and raise the car.

14. Install holder 83 95 063, or equivalent and remove crankshaft toothed belt sprocket and spacer ring.
15. Pry out the gasket. Be careful of the sealing surface on the crankshaft.
