Starter Motor: Service and Repair
Starter

1. Vehicles with audio coded antitheft system refer to Accessories and Optional Equipment / Radio for radio code procedure.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Disconnect starter motor electrical connectors.
4. Loosen starter motor bracket bar upper attaching bolt. Do not remove bolt.
5. Remove both starter motor to engine block attaching bolts.
6. Remove starter motor from vehicle.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
