Refer to the illustrations.

Tighten to: 10 Nm (7.3 ft. lbs.)

4. On models with turbocharger, install the charge pressure pipe.

Use turbocharger delivery pipe installing tool No. 87 91 782, or equivalent.

CAUTION:

Always change the pipe O-rings, leakage could destroy the transmission.

If the pipe is so deformed that it does not perfectly install the pattern of holes, the pipe should be scraped.

^

Otherwise, there is a danger of the sharp edges on the pipe scraping swarf (metal particles) from the holes.

^

This swarf will damage the valve body.

5. On all models, install the valve body cover.
6. Install battery tray and battery.
