Assembly

1. Make sure that the slave cylinder has been thoroughly cleaned.

Wash the parts in brake fluid or special cleaning fluid for hydraulic components, like a mixture of alcohol and acetone.

2. Install two new seals on the piston. Lubricate the seals with brake fluid.
3. Press a new seal into the guide sleeve with tool driver tool No. 78 41 067, or equivalent, and lubricate it with Shell Grease 1344 LIEP 11, or

equivalent.

CAUTION:  Do not let any grease come into contact with O-rings or paint work.

4. Install the seal between the guide sleeve and the slave cylinder housing on the guide sleeve.
5. Push the piston on to the guide sleeve and then install the lock ring.
6. Install the guide sleeve and its piston into the slave cylinder housing.
7. Install the O-ring to the back of the slave cylinder.

Use Vaseline to hold it in place during assembly.

8. Install of slave cylinder in clutch housing.
