Open the battery cover and carefully remove the two batteries.

Important

Be careful not to touch the contact surfaces on the batteries as this may cause interruptions in operation.

Place a small screwdriver in the notch on the remote control and carefully prise apart the two halves.

Important

Be careful not to press the screwdriver into the remote control as this will damage the circuit board.

Detach the rubber button from the upper half with a small screwdriver.
