Oxygen Sensor: Service and Repair
Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor (Oxygen Sensor 2)
To Remove
1. Unplug the sensor wiring connector.
IMPORTANT: Note how the wiring is run and the points. where the cable ties are fastened
2. Snip the cable ties and remove the wiring.
3. Raise the car and remove the oxygen sensor.
To Fit
IMPORTANT: Before fitting, lubricate the threads of the oxygen sensor with Molycote 1000 or the equivalent.
Fit and connect the oxygen sensor in reverse order.
Secure the wiring as it was originally.
Tightening torque: 55 Nm (40 ft lbs).
