Disassembly

When the circlip has been removed, the annulus can be removed from the output shaft.

Bearing

NOTE:  Component identifier numbers used in the following illustrations relate to specific steps in the procedures below.

Removal

NOTE:  The transmission must be dismantled up to the output shaft.

1. Remove the tapered bearing from the output shaft drive. Use puller ring tool No. 87 91 691, screwed into puller tool No. 87 91 642 with support

tool No. 89 95 177 as a holder, or equivalents.

2. Remove the tapered bearing from the output shaft. 

Use puller and puller ring tool with drift tool No. 87 91 410 as a holder, or equivalents.
