Fault symptom

Permanent high temperature reading (+50° C).

Action

Unplug the temperature sensor connector. Check the resistance In the outside temperature sensor with the connector unplugged. The resistance
varies with temperature, see table. 
If the resistance is incorrect, change the sensor.

Check the lead between pin 35 on the control module and pin 1 on the outside temperature sensor for short to ground.

It the fault remains, proceed to "Action Before Changing A Control Module".
