Remove the top section of the dashboard. See Figure 1.

Pry the speaker bracket away from the dashboard support so they cannot meet. See Figure 2, item 4.
5.
Tighten the front screw securing the dashboard support at a torque of 2 Nm (1.5 ft.lbs.). See Figure 2, item 5.
6.
Fit the top section of the dashboard in place.
7.
Fit a washer, P/N 84 57 541. in place between the top section of the dashboard and the speaker bracket. See Figure 2, item 7.
8.
Tighten the screws securing the top section of the dashboard. See Figure 2, item 8.
