Track Rod Ends: Description and Operation

The ball joints on the track rod ends are screwed onto the track rods and secured with locknuts. To adjust the toe-in setting, the length of track rod can be
adjusted by slackening the locknuts and screwing the track rod ends in or out as appropriate. It is essential that the toe-in can be adjusted.
The ball joint on the track rod is secured to the steering swivel member by a self-locking nut.
The track rod ends cannot be dismantled but are self-adjusting and can tolerate a moderate amount of wear.
