Carrier Bearings: Service and Repair
Tapered Bearing Inner Race
NOTE: Component identifier numbers used in the following illustrations relate to specific steps in the procedures below.
Replacement

Place the differential in a screw vice with jaw protectors and pull out the bearings with puller tool No. 87 92 343, or equivalent.

Use support tool No. 87 92 210, or equivalent, as a support.

Press the bearings all the way down with tool 87 91 311.

Use support tool as support.
