Cigarette Lighter: Description and Operation

When the ignition switch is in the Drive position, positive current is supplied to cigarette lighter 48 via fuse 9 and the terminal block (+54 circuit). The
circuit is closed when the cigarette lighter is pressed in.

Ashtray lighting 148 is regulated by the rheostat used for regulating the lighting of instruments and controls.
