Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair

To Remove

1. Remove the left-hand engine cover.
2. Unplug the connector.
3. Remove the two retaining screws.
4. Remove the sensor. Note the position of the O-ring.

    
To Fit

1. Check that the O-ring is correctly positioned. Lubricate it with a little petroleum jelly (Vaseline).
2. Fit the sensor on the throttle spindle.
3. Plug in the connector.
4. Refit the engine cover.
