Assembly

1. Install a new O-ring to the hub and lightly grease it using Vaseline.
2. Press the inner ring with the chamfered edge downwards into the cylinder as far as it will go.
3. Install new O-rings to the plunger and grease them lightly with Vaseline.
4. Press the plunger into the cylinder.
5. Insert the Belleville washer.
6. Press down installing tool, install the thrust washer and secure it with the stop ring by pushing together the two halves.

NOTE:  The washer must be able to rotate freely.

7. Install the entire plate assembly for clutch B.

Start with the outer plate.

Then install friction plates and outer plates alternately.

The 3 friction plates should be well oiled with automatic transmission fluid.

CAUTION:

Do not mix up the friction plates.
