Inner Drive Shaft, RH Side

NOTE:  Component identifier numbers used in the following illustrations relate to specific steps in the procedures below.

Removal

1. If the transmission has not been removed from the car, remove the support bearing bracket/driver bearing bracket.
2. Remove the O-ring.
3. Remove the circlip for the driver shaft and withdraw the shaft using a sliding hammer tool No. 83 90 270 and adapter tool No. 87 90 917, or

equivalents.

4. Remove the shaft seal from the drive shaft.
5. Remove the circlip from the drive shaft and press off the bearing.
