Front Crankshaft Seal: Service and Repair
1. Raise the car.
2. Remove the right front wheel and the front section of the fender liner.
3. Remove the drive belt.
4. Remove the crankshaft pulley.
5. Use a screwdriver to break off the old seal.
6. Install the new seal using tool 83 93 349, or equivalent.
7. Install the pulley and tighten to 190 Nm (140 ft. lbs.).
8. Install the drive belt. Use a belt-tension meter to check the tension.
9. Install the fender liner.
10. Install the wheel and lower the car.
