2. Using a ratchet handle, advance the tensioner and then fix it in position by means of locking pin 83 94 488, or equivalent.
3. Install the belt and the idler-wheel pulley. Make sure that the belt is correctly seated round all the pulleys and then lower the car. Apply a hard
upward pull to the belt to release the pressure of the tensioner, and remove the locking pin. Raise the car.
4. Install the fender liner.
5. Install the wheel and tighten the bolts to 130 Nm (96 ft. lbs.). Lower the car.
