Procedure

Before taking any measures, inspect box A4 (M92 US/CA) or box C2 (M93-94) on the modification identity plate. If the box has not been marked,
continue as described below:

1.

Make sure the radio's theft protection code is available and disconnect the negative battery cable.

If you have lost the radio code, you can easily obtain it by accessing DCS or IRIS and using the RADIO CODE INQUIRY under the Sales and
Warranty screen.

2.

Remove the carpet on the passenger side of the center console. On cars with passenger airbag, first remove the carpet trim from the fusebox (5
push pins).

3.

Unplug the control module.

4.

Remove the control module.
