With petroleum jelly (Vaseline) on the threads: 65 Nm (48 ft. lbs.)

4. Tighten the bolts securing the steering swivel member to the ball joint.

Tightening torques: 50 Nm (36 ft. lbs.)

5. Tighten the nuts securing the track rod ends to the steering swivel member.

Tightening torques: 55Nm (41 ft. lbs.)

6. Clean and remove all grease from the drive shaft and the hub.
7. Refit the disc back-plate and the hub.
8. Tighten the four bolts securing the hub to the steering swivel member.

Tightening torques: 59 Nm (44 ft. lbs.)

9. Apply Loctite 641 approximately 5 mm in and around on the splines on the shaft, pictured.

10. Fit the brake disc and locating stud and tighten the retaining screw.
11. Fit the brake caliper, tightening the two bolts that secure it to the steering swivel member.

Tightening torques: 90 Nm (66 ft. lbs.)

12. Place the wheel sensor in the right position and tighten the bolt. Lightly press the sensor body against the toothed wheel and tightened the locking

screw. No adjustment is necessary. Position the sensor and tighten the retaining screw.

13. Fit a new hub nut.
14. Replace the wheels and lower the car to the ground. Tighten the wheel nuts.

Tightening torques: 120 Nm (89 ft. lbs.).

15. Tighten the hub center nut with a torque wrench.

Tightening torques 280 Nm (206 ft. lbs.)

IMPORTANT

Pump the brake pedal to bring the pads up to the disc.

Before the car is driven, the glue (Loctite 641) must harden for at least 1 hour.

16. Check and possibly adjust the toe-in.
