Gear Case and Torque Converter Housing Gasket
Removal
1. Remove the transmission from the car. Use tool 87 92 293 to secure the torque converter.
2. Set up the transmission in a work stand using holder 87 91 469.
3. Lift out the torque converter using the grips, tool 87 91 766.
4. Remove the torque converter housing.
Installation
1. Clean the gasket surfaces.
2. Install a new gasket and assemble the gear case and torque converter housing.
3. Install the torque converter using the grips, tool 87 91 766. Secure the torque converter using tool 87 92 293.
4. Install the transmission in the car.
