1. Remove the one-way clutch inner ring from its holder.
2. Remove both the cover washers together with the holder from the outer ring.
3. Install the 2nd one-way clutch by first pressing in one of the two cover washers for the one-way clutch into the one-way clutch outer ring, with the

raised edge facing upwards.

4. Install the one-way clutch holder with the shoulder facing downwards. Place the cover washer on the one-way clutch and press it in.

CAUTION:  If incorrectly installed (reversed), the locking direction will be incorrect. If the transmission is assembled with the one-way clutch
incorrectly installed, the transmission may be totally destroyed. The transmission may jam and break down.

5. Insert the one-way clutch inner ring by turning it clockwise, seen from the front.

NOTE:

Operational Test:
It should be possible to rotate the one-way clutch inner ring clockwise with the shoulder or the inner teeth upwards when the outer ring is held
stationary.

Clutch A

NOTE:  Component identifier numbers used in the following illustrations relate to specific steps in the procedures below.

Disassembly

1. Remove the circlip using suitable pliers.
2. Withdraw the turbine shaft towards the drive side.
3. Remove the circlip from the cylinder and withdraw the entire plate assembly, including the spring plate.
4. Press down the holder plate in a press with tool No. 87 91 535 and remove the circlip using pliers tool No. 87 90 180, or equivalents and a

screwdriver.

5. Remove the holder plate and the two Belleville washers under it by tapping it lightly against the workbench.
6. Install a compressed air gun to one of the two fluid supply passages, cover the two open fluid supply passages and press out plunger A using the

compressed air.
