5. Dismantle the transmission until the partition plate with pump has been removed.
6. Remove the retaining screws and take apart the pump and intermediate plate.

Hit the partition surface using a plastic hammer.
Installation
1. Install the new pump drive, noting the installing position.
2. Install the overflow valve and install the pump to the partition plate.
3. Check axial play.

The transmission should be assembled up to cylinder B.

The 2nd one-way clutch should not be installed.
a. Install shims (selected thickness 1.0 mm (0.039 inch) and shim holder to the hub for cylinder B.
