7. Press out the intermediate shaft from the universal joint drive shaft with puller ring fixture tool No. 87 90 636 and puller ring tool No. 87 91 212,

or equivalents, and a long drift.

Assembly

1. Install the inner lock ring on the support bearing bracket.
2. Press the bearing into the support bearing bracket with pressing ring tool tool No. 87 90 461, or equivalent.

Use tube tool 83 90 114, or equivalent, as a support.

3. Install the other lock ring in the support bearing bracket and a new dirt protector on the universal joint drive. Also check the O-ring.
