Subject: Addressing Customer Complaint of Vibration at Idle

Application: 1994-95 900 Models with 4-cylinder engines and Automatic Transmission

A Service Kit has been developed to address a customer complaint of engine vibration in Drive at idle. Follow the instructions listed herein to rectify the
complaint.

Cars Affected:

1994-95 900 models with 4 cylinder engines and automatic transmission

Parts:

Service Kit 89 94 113

This Kit consists of parts listed for individual procedures. It does contain supplies or tools.

NOTE: 

Kit also contains some reinforcement plates that are not used in this procedure.

Supplies:

Anti-corrosion agent
Primer
Touch-Up Paint
Sealant
Cleaner such as Teroson, P/N 30 15 815

Tools:

9/64" (3.5mm) drill bit

Action:

1. Test drive the car with the customer to verify the complaint. This should be done to determine whether the customer's complaint concerns engine

idling.

2. Carry out the various measures as indicated in the following pages of this bulletin:

Fit stops for the tailgate

^

Change the engine mounts

^

Change the generator (alternator) voltage regulator

^

Fit the radiator fan adapter wiring harness
