DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION
When the ignition switch is in the Drive position, positive current is supplied to cigarette lighter 48 via fuse 6.
The circuit closes when the cigarette lighter is pressed in.
FAULTS DIAGNOSIS HINTS
1. Check that fuse 6 is intact and supplied with current.
2. Check the cigarette lighter filament.
3. Check the ground connection.
