Engine Mount: Service and Repair
Rear
REMOVAL
1. Suspend the engine from a lifting beam tool No. 83 94 850, or equivalent.

Unplug the oxygen (Lambda) sensor connector, remove the cable clamp and clip.
2. Raise the car and remove the front wheels and spoiler sections.

Undo the joint between the front exhaust pipe and intermediate pipe.
3. Unbolt the front exhaust pipe from the exhaust manifold.

Remove the catalytic converter from its bracket and take down the exhaust pipe.
4. Remove the end piece, steering swivel member on both sides and rear engine mounting.

Position a lifting table under the engine, raise the table, undo the other bolts and lower the sub-frame.
5. Remove the rear engine mounting.
