d. Depress the tubing and fit the loop over the tubing. Tighten the tie wrap to secure the tubing. See Figure 6.

Remove the rearmost of the two nuts securing the height adjustment mechanism to the seat rail. Discard the nut. See Figure 7.

Install a new seat rail and tighten the rearmost nut of the joint between the seat rail and the height adjustment mechanism as described below to
ensure optimal operation of the height adjustment function (see Figure 8):
a. Apply two drops of thread locking compound to the threads of a new nut (included in the spare parts kit).
b. Tighten the nut of the rearmost joint between the seat rail and height adjustment mechanism. Tightening torque: 20 Nm (14.8 ft.lbs.).
Note:
Be sure the shoulder on the stud is in the hole of the height adjustment mechanism before the nut Is tightened.
c. Back off the nut a 1/4 turn.
