PISTON CLASSIFICATION

The piston classification code is stamped on the piston crown.
The codes for servicing are: 

AB
B
C

The cylinder classification code is stamped on the block adjacent to each cylinder. Cylinder classification codes are

A
B
B+

All three cylinder classes may occur in the same block.

PISTON SIZES

Standard:

A: 89.971-89.980 mm (3.5449-3.5452)
AB: 89.980-89.989 mm (3.5452-3.5456)
B: 89.989-90.000 mm (3.5456-3.5460)
C: 90.000-90.013 mm (3.5460-3.5465)

Oversize:

First (0.5 mm): 90.472-90.488 mm (3.5646-3.5652)
Second (1.0 mm): 90.972-90.988 mm (3.5843-3.5849)

Nominal: 0.011-0.040 mm (0.0043-0.0158)
A/A: 0.020-0.041 mm (0.0079-0.0160)
