If "CHANGE" is selected, a list of possible languages will be displayed; ES, IT, FR, DE, GB and SE. The selected language will be used from the time
the ignition is next switched on. Since SID 4 has no buttons for selecting a language, this is the only available method.
"Speed Warning ME"
If this warning system is active, an acoustic signal will be heard when the speed of the car exceeds 120 km/h. At the same time, the "SPD W" message
will appear on the display. This is a legal requirement in the ME market.
Programming
Starting with M1995, the ISAT Scan Tool is equipped for programming SID 2/3 and SID 4 (SID 1 with audio display). Only one basic programming
routine is provided and since the ISAT Scan Tool does not show how the instrument is programmed, the routine cannot therefore be used to check this.
Basic setting of the following features is carried out and they must be adapted to the relevant market by means of the adjustment commands.
- Service indicator
The normal service interval is 20,000 km. This can be programmed and changed with "SERVICE INDICATOR" in the "ADJUSTMENT" menu.
- Language
The basic setting (English) can be changed with "LANGUAGE" in the "ADJUSTMENT" menu.
