Check the wiring for continuity/shorting by taking a reading across:

NOTE:  It a message is always displayed, check the sensor's grounding cable.

Bulb Filament Check

If in proper working order, the message "FRONTLIGHT FAILURE" will appear on the Saab Information Display (SID) unit display in the event
of bulb failure in any lamp.

If the BLACK PANEL is activated the display should light up.

Connect a Intellegent Saab Tester (ISAT) Scan Tool and select the "READ VALUES" menu and then "INPUT SIGNALS".
