Control Module: Description and Operation
Control Module Ground
The ground connections to pins 22 and 35 are internally connected in the transmission control module and from an electrical viewpoint are the same
point. The grounding points are duplicated to improve safety and functionality.
Check Engine Request
If an emission related fault arises in the automatic transmission, the transmission control module sends a PWM signal at a frequency of 2 Hz from pin 5
to engine control module pin 65 (Motronic 4.1).
