Make new holes for the rivets in the side elastic straps so that the overall length from the edge binding to the new hole will be 165 mm.

Shorten the side elastic straps so that the distance from the rivet hole to the end is about 25 mm.

Refit the side elastic straps to the front rails with blind rivets, 48 56 860 and washers, 48 56 878.

Raise the soft top to the closed and locked position.

Mark the lateral position of the anti-ballooning strips on the second and third bows.
