13. Remove the screw securing the A/C pipes' PAD connection to the expansion valve. This screw is accessible from the engine bay.
14. Unplug the connector and remove the antifreeze thermostat.
15. Cut the pipes with plate shears and pull the evaporator out of the climate control unit.
