Clutch Cable: Service and Repair

Dismantling

Disconnect the battery cables and lift out the battery.

Disconnect the clutch wire from the gearbox clutch lever by pulling the wire and unhooking it from the wire stop.

Disconnect the wire's rubber dampener from the fastener on the gearbox.

Remove the cover from the distribution box and remove any hood contact for an alarm.

Remove the nut, disconnect and turn aside the distribution box.

Disconnect the wire's cover from the fastener on the wheel house (left-hand drive cars) or the fastener on the gearbox and the strut of the engine
compartment respectively (right-hand drive cars).
