Clutch Release Bearing: Service and Repair
With Hydraulic Clutch

NOTE:  Component identifier numbers used in the following illustrations relate to specific steps in the procedures below.

Removal

1. Remove the gearbox, refer to Manual Transmission/Transaxle
2. Detach the delivery pipe.
3. Remove the slave cylinder's three retaining screws and withdraw the slave cylinder.

Installation

1. Apply Loctite 577, or equivalent, to the retaining screws.
2. Screw the slave cylinder in place.

Tightening torque: 10 Nm (84 inch lbs.) 

3. Install the delivery pipe to the slave cylinder.

-

Tightening torque: 22 Nm (16 ft. lbs.) 

4. Bleed the slave cylinder before reinstalling the gearbox.
5. Install the gearbox.
6. Bleed the clutch hydraulic system.
