Trunk / Liftgate Lock: Service and Repair
Replacement of Motor and Lock In Tailgate

Remove the trim on the tailgate to gain access to the central locking motor.

Remove the bolts and disconnect the linkage from the motor.

Pull out the motor by means of the wiring and unplug the connector.

Unsnap the rod from the lock cylinder.

5

Remove the nuts securing the lock cylinder unit and lift out the entire unit from the inside.

Install in reverse order.
