900 SE Convertible V6-2498cc 2.5L DOHC (1995)
Disassembly
1. Remove the brake caliper.
2. Clean the hydraulic body.
3. Remove the two dust covers.
4. Remove the plugs and force out the pistons using compressed air. Use the special tool (part no. 89 96 72) as a dolly.
5. Remove the seal rings in the cylinder bores.
6. Check for damage due to wear.
Assembly
1. Lubricate the piston: seal rings with the grease supplied in the kit. Also fill the dust covers with grease.
2. Install the piston seals into the cylinder bore.
3. Install the pistons into the cylinders and install the dust covers.
CAUTION: It is important that the pistons are in the right position in the caliper. To ensure that this position is correct a control measurement can
be made. The measurement should be 29 mm.
4. Install the brake caliper.
