Parking Brake Shoe: Adjustments
1. Lift the car and take off the back wheels.
2. Use a screwdriver to screw out the adjustment until the brake disc is blocked.
3. Then screw the adjustment back until the brake disk turns freely. It is of the utmost importance that the shoes are adjusted properly to avoid rattle.
This corresponds to 7 notches.
4. Repeat the same procedure with the other rear wheel.
5. Install the rear wheel.
6. Pull up the handbrake to the 3rd-5th notch. Check that both rear wheels are locked. If necessary adjust the cable equalizer.
