Front Crankshaft Seal: Service and Repair
Removal

NOTE:

Step numbers below refer to numbers used in the illustrations.

In vehicle.

1. Remove the air cleaner and mass air flow sensor.
2. Slacken the pulley bolts slightly.

Remove the multigroove drive belt, the belt tensioner, power steering pump pulley, water pump pulley and cover.

3. Remove the right-hand front wheel and the cover in the wheel housing.

Remove the crankshaft pulley (undo the six bolts but do not remove the centre bolt).
