Action 1: Adjusting the Gear Position Sensor

1.

Clean the area around the transmission filler pipe and the gear position sensor.

2.

Read and record any diagnostic trouble codes.

3.

Record the radio code and disconnect and remove the battery.

4.

Remove the power steering pump pipe attachment bracket.
