BATTERY VOLTAGE (+30 CIRCUIT)

The transmission control module is continuously supplied with battery voltage (+30 circuit) on pin 18. The control module uses this voltage as a
back-up for the memory. Current consumption on back-up is less than 1 mA.
BATTERY VOLTAGE (+15 CIRCUIT)

When the ignition switch is in the Drive position, the transmission control module is supplied with current (+15 circuit) on pin 17. This current is
necessary in order to activate the control module.
Drive Position
Information about the current gear position, P-N or R-D-3-2-1, is sent from pin 11 of the transmission control module to the engine control module.
