RES/-: Current is supplied to connection C of the control module. In this position there are three functions:

When the Cruise Control system is engaged and its memory is empty, this position can be used as a SET function, i.e. the current speed is stored in
the memory.

After activation of the brake or clutch pedal, the Cruise Control can be reset to the original speed by pressing RES/-.

If the button is kept depressed in the RES/- position, the car will gradually slow down. The new speed will be stored in the memory when the
button is released. If activated briefly, the speed of the car will be reduced in steps of 1.6 km/h (1 mph).
SET/+: At the end of the direction-indicator stalk is a spring- loaded SET/+ push-button. When this button is depressed, current is supplied to
connection B of the control module. This button has two functions:

If the SET button is depressed while the Cruise Control system is activated, the current speed will be stored in the Cruise Control memory.

If the SET/+ button is kept depressed, the car will gradually increase speed. The new speed will be stored in the memory when the button is
released. If activated briefly, the speed of the car will increase in steps of 1.6 km/h (1 mph).
