In addition, the ACC control module will shut off the output after a certain time. This is not done on cars with a manual control panel, however,
but the motor will not be damaged due to internal current limitation.
The ACC control module selects recirculation when the cooling effect in the fresh air position is insufficient or when the speed of the car is 10
km/h or less and the requisite blended-air temperature is 0 °C.
Recirculation can also be selected manually, although not in the manual defrost position, and this is indicated by a symbol in the ACC panel's
display.
